When I was elected in 2011 I said that I would make improving the two-way flow of information across London a priority.

  • Set up an extended Regional Team Forum. This brings together the Regional Officers, Area Chairmen, CWO and CF Chairmen and the CPF Regional Co-ordinator.
  • Changed the format of Regional Meetings to make them more informative, with more opportunity for questions and debate. Further, the meeting presentations and updates are now circulated to all Association Chairmen and Area Officers
  • Launched a regional website (www.londonconservatives.org.uk). This has links to all of our association websites, carries information on association, area and regional events and has a Campaign Diary section which is updated on a daily basis.
  • Tried to attend every Area Management Executive Committee meeting to provide information and support and to answer questions or, if unable to attend myself sought to ensure that one of my hardworking team, Edward Heckels (Deputy Chairman - Political) or Tara Douglas-Home (Deputy Chairman - Membership) is present.
  • Attended this year's Party Conference in Manchester, where in addition to hosting the Regional Reception - again a big thank you to Canary Wharf for their sponsorship - at which we welcomed our Prime Minister and the Mayor of London, I publicised two Regional Surgery sessions where I was able to meet up with association officers and members to discuss their issues and concerns. It was great to see so many of you and to hear your news and views.

"I am delighted to support Graham in this election. We worked closely together when I was Regional Chairman and I know from first hand experience how effective he is in campaigning and motivating our activists."

Matthew Carrington, Chairman Kensington,
Chelsea and Fulham Conservative Association

"Graham's role as Regional Chairman is a vital and valuable asset to us as we continue to strengthen the London Party."

Sean Donovan-Smith, Chairman London Southern Area
